I chose this hotel for attending a business mixer nearby, and it was a great choice. The location was convenient, just 32 km from the Winter Gardens Conference Centre. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were well-maintained. It provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The only thing I missed for my work was a dedicated business center or a quiet workspace.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this lovely holiday park in Cockerham. The decoration of the hotel's general areas was simply delightful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy seating corners and beautiful floral arrangements made me feel at ease and comfortable throughout my time there. As a senior, I greatly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The pathways were well-maintained and easily navigable, allowing me to explore the park and its surroundings with ease.
One small improvement that I would suggest for a better vacation experience for senior people is to have more staff available to assist with any needs or inquiries. The children working there were friendly, but at times, it felt like they were overwhelmed and unable to provide immediate assistance.

the location was breathtaking, offering stunning views of the sea from my comfortable and clean caravan. the proximity to the clubhouse and children's play area was a definite plus, as it made it easy for me to keep an eye on my kids while enjoying some relaxation time. the on-site bar served delicious food all throughout the day, and the entertainment provided in the evenings was enjoyable for both kids and adults. the park also had a small shop, which was convenient for picking up essentials.
I found the lack of variety in kids' activities to be a downside. While there was a kids' room and an outdoor play area, they were quite limited in terms of play options and entertainment.

Stunning location, delicious food, and fantastic entertainment. Loved the warm hospitality and the option to explore the beautiful Lake District and Blackpool nearby. Really enjoyed my stay at Cockerham Sands!
Shop was a fashion boutique instead of a grocery store, just what I needed for my seaside vacation.

The caravan was modern, warm, and clean with comfortable beds. The clubhouse was beautifully decorated and had a separate bar and seating area. The staff were lovely and friendly. There was also a separate children's area with a small soft play area and arcade machines. it was a nice site with easy access for senior people.
We chose this site because it advertised a heated pool but unfortunately we didn't read the small print. Two of the evening entertainment options were Christmas songs, which seemed out of place.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with cozy furniture and beautiful artwork that gave it a homely feel. The general areas, such as the lobby and dining area, were well-maintained and had a welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I particularly appreciated how accessible the hotel was for people of my age. The staff were always available to help with my bags and offered assistance whenever needed. It made my stay much more comfortable and enjoyable.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and proactive in assisting older guests. While the staff were friendly, there were times when I had to ask for assistance or wait for longer than expected to have my needs attended to.

The Perfect Location for Any Break or Holiday. I must say, this holiday park truly lives up to its title of being the perfect location for any break or holiday. With its stunning seafront location on the Lune Estuary, it offers a picturesque setting that is just remarkable. It's like being transported to a postcard-worthy paradise where you can relax and unwind in the beauty of nature. The nearby towns of Blackpool and Lancaster are easily accessible, and they provide a wonderful opportunity for exploration. I spent my days immersed in the Forest of Bowland and Lake District Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and let me tell you, it felt like stepping into a fairy tale.
The Road to the Holiday Park. One minor inconvenience was the road to the holiday park.

Cockerham Sands served as an ideal base for exploring nearby towns like Blackpool and Lancaster, as well as the stunning Forest of Bowland and Lake District Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The children's playground kept the kids entertained, while the adjacent beach provided endless fun for watersports enthusiasts. Additionally, the property's proximity to the Blackpool Winter Gardens Theatre added excitement to our family vacation.
For dads, it would be great if there were more organized activities for families with children.

We had an amazing stay at a beautiful location near the sea. The caravan we stayed in was like new, immaculate and well-maintained. The staff at reception were friendly and accommodating, our family and our parents were kept close together. The cleanliness of the site and caravan was so nice. The club on-site provided great nightlife and the restaurant had delicious food. The added touch of complimentary tea, coffee, and sugar made us feel welcomed. The free WiFi in the caravan was a bonus. Though the site is a bit remote, it was worth the drive as the surroundings were fine. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the limited opening hours of the bar and the lack of ironing facilities and cleaning products, our stay at Cockerham Sands was enjoyable and was so nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
